Kansas City Kansas Public Schools - Air Filtration

The Kansas City Kansas Public Schools were looking for a practical solution with effective results to mitigate coronavirus and other airborne pathogens.  MGES approached this problem with real-world engineering measures.  The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has created and developed a Standard for Recommended Practices to help.  MGES has applied this standard in the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools to create a safer environment in all 46 school buildings (Elementary, Middle and High School), administrative buildings and transportations buildings.  The process starts with an MGES engineer assessing the existing spaces to determine volume, use, typical occupancy and turnover rates.  Then we are able to calculate the optimal clean air changes per room, ideal placement for maximum effectiveness.  With minimal student and faculty disruption, MGES was able to provide an engineered solution using an FDA approved process that cleans the air of viruses, mold, mildew and kills coronavirus utilizing UVC LEDs.  Click here to get a free quote from MGES or call 913-334-6333.
